Dublin to Host State of the City Event, Provide Updates on Innovative Initiatives with Regional Impact

The City of Dublin will host the State of the City presented by its exceptional community on Thursday, March 14, at The Exchange at Bridge Park.

City Manager Megan O’Callaghan will be joined on stage by Dublin residents, community partners and public servants to report on the City’s accomplishments, financial outlook and updates on the following topics:

  • Dublin’s groundbreaking Fiber to Every Home initiative
  • The final stages of the Envision Dublin community plan update
  • The revitalization of Metro Center
  • Transformational transportation projects, including the possibility of a passenger rail station right here in Dublin that will connect Central Ohio to Chicago
  • And more!

Dublin residents will share their stories about how Dublin’s economic vitality, world-class City services and forward-thinking projects help to create a sense of place to unite our exceptional community.

The City of Dublin is pleased to host this event, bringing together our exceptional residents, business leaders, Dublin workforce and community partners to reflect on last year’s successes while turning our focus to the year ahead.

The State of the City event provides a chance for us to meet face-to-face with our community members,” O’Callaghan says. “Our City Council and City employees know it takes every voice in our community to make our vision of being the most sustainable, most connected and most resilient global city of choice reality.”

In addition to the presentation, the event will feature several engagement tables during the community reception, including Central Ohio Transit Authority’s LinkUS initiative, Dublin Police, Slow Down Dublin, Forever Dublin and opportunities to provide feedback on Dublin’s Community Recreation Center Refresh Master Plan and the Envision Dublin Community Plan.
